Reminder: Important Season Information

Umpiring & Rosters

The team on the umpiring roster must supply 2 umpires (download Umpire Roster below)
A team can borrow players from other Masters teams to make up 11 players.

Bylaws for Busselton Masters Competition

Players must be 35+ years old as of January 1st of the current year
Each team can have up to 2 players aged 33+ as of January 1st
Tomahawks are NOT allowed 🚫
Penalty for not providing a Tech Bench volunteer ❌ - $100 fine per missing volunteer
Penalty for not providing umpires ❌ - $100 fine per umpire and
Next game penalty:
- One umpire failing to attend: The team plays the first half with one (1) player less
- If both umpires fail to attend: The team plays the full game with one (1) player less

Busselton Masters Guidelines

These Guidelines supplement the current BHA Bylaws and were developed following a Forum on 25 May 2023, where representatives from each club met to discuss and agree on them.

Registration

ALL PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED online via RevSport before the season starts. This ensures coverage for registration & insurance under Hockey Australia.

This is a mixed competition and we invite all teams to continue to encourage women to play and join in the fun of our masters competition.

Game Format

14-minute quarters
2-minute quarter breaks
5-minute halftime break
Penalty Corners & Shootouts played out

Score Sheets

Please ensure accuracy!

Full player names & numbers (no nicknames).
Goals recorded in the player column & half/full-time score boxes.
Captain/Manager must check the umpires have completed the Score Sheet & Association votes before signing.
