Masters Competition (35+)

For players 35 and over, the Masters competition provides a great way to stay active and enjoy social yet competitive hockey. Games are played on Thursday evenings, with clubs entering mixed teams that often feature players ranging in age from 35 to 75. Whether you're a seasoned player or returning to the sport, Masters hockey offers a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all skill levels.

Key Details:

Games: Thursday (First Game March 27)
Time: 6.00 PM, 7.15 PM, 8.30 PM
Cost*: Player participation fee, & annual player levies (see club information).
Registration: Contact your club for registration details.
Training: Some teams train once per week (some just play on Thursday night!).

Women’s Masters

🌟 Women's Masters Hockey – Join the Fun! 🌟

This new Women's Masters Series is designed for women 35+ who want to stay involved in hockey in a fun, social, and dedicated competition. It's perfect for those keen to play Masters hockey but prefer not to join the mixed competition.

In this first season, we’re focusing on game time and enjoyment with a short 10-week introductory series.

Who can join? Women 35+ looking for a dedicated Masters competition
When? April – July, Thursdays 5:15 PM – 6:00 PM on the turf
How does it work? Teams are formed on the night, so just arrive 10 minutes early to warm up!

💲 Player Fee: $50
To play, you’ll need to register, which includes the $50 session fee plus a Hockey Australia levy.

If you're already registered with a club team, you’ve likely paid this levy.
If you’re not playing for a club and definitely won’t be joining a Masters or Senior competition team, there’s a special reduced levy of $35 (instead of the full-season $64 fee).
